The fifth year design faculty are looking forward to working with you and anticipate an exciting, creative, productive and successful year.
There are two parts to the fifth year studio selection process. The first part is the Statement of Purpose & Process 2008-2009 web page that provides an overall description of the process and specifies the deadline for your statement of purpose.
The second part is completing the online studio preference form (anticipated deadline: early July). Please watch for this second part to appear here as you will need to be engaged in the studio selection process.
Questions about the process, dates, or other aspects of fifth year design are welcome and should be addressed to:

The program allows students to graduate two quarters early. Students join the program summer quarter after completing their third year and continue year-round for six consecutive quarters to complete the program two quarters early. It is possible to take part in quarter-long off-campus programs during either the first summer or fall quarter. The other quarters must be completed on-campus.
