Looking for a 3rd or 4th year Cal Poly architecture student to draft site plans for two proposed development projects.  The site plans will be an iterative process to respond to input from the local planning agencies and potential tenants.  I currently have scaled physical drawings from a Land Surveyor and one project is in software (don’t cringe – in excel). $ 15 per hour.

Airport Road Business Park

Aiport Road Business Park is a new Class A business Park currently under construction in Paso Robles. We are attempting to show the community and potential buyers the type of buildings we would like to see in our park. To that end we are looking for some architectureal renderings to be created for buildings on four of the lots. We envision hiring student architects to assist us with the project as these buildings are for conceptual purposes.

TLC Holdings, a property development company, is looking for motivated and hard-working interns to help develop our growing business. We are looking for an individual who can start a paid part-time position, then transfer to a paid summer intern position.

The intern's main responsibility will involve the "hands-on" active participation in our current 3 acre estate project. They must possess some minor scaling and drafting skills. They will help with on-site job duties, which include, but are not limited to assisting the design process and the locating of external and internal design elements.

Intern will be working side by side with an experienced builder and the owner of the property. This estate features the largest residential retaining and grading project ever in the city of Laguna Niguel. Intern will also be involved with the construction of a 22 foot waterfall, as well as several other major resort style features.

There is also the potential for growth and expansion. A successful intern could be given the opportunity to work on future projects which include a developemental and city planning project in Kentucky.

Our firm, Steven D. Pults, AIA & Associates, LLP, has an exciting internship opportunity for an upper level Architecture Major, fourth or fifth year, possibly graduate level. Our firm is an industry leader in winery design and in that capacity we have been approached to design a production facility in China, approximately an hour north of Beijing.

We need as part of our team a translator who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese, and has a grasp of the technical concepts involved in the design and construction of a building, including but not limited to architectural; design, structural and mechanical systems and civil engineering. As part of our initial site visit will be to interview local architects, engineers and contractors it is essential that our translator has a comprehensive knowledge of these technical terms and issues.

We are about four to six weeks from the initial site visit, which will occur sometime in the month of May. It will be approximately one week, with basic expenses paid. If you feel that you meet these requirements and can schedule your time appropriately, please contact us and schedule an interview.
