Profile

Richard Beller is an Architect and General Contractor with 30 years of diverse experience designing and constructing residential and commercial projects in the San Luis Obispo region. He is an adjunct faculty member at California Polytechnic State University.

Beller’s experience is unique and multi-faceted. Recent projects include Construction Manager for the San Luis Botanical Gardens Educational Facility, which was built with the help of Cuesta College students. Beller was the construction manager for Cal Poly’s 2005 third place entry in the Solar Decathlon in Washington DC. He was the project architect for San Luis Obispo Sustainability Group Architects for the Congregation Beth David Synagogue.

Beller studied music composition at UCLA, and architecture at California Polytechnic State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree with honors, and earned a Master’s degree in architecture at Cal Poly with a concentration in real estate development.
